Bio
Gabriel’s legal practice is focused on securing justice for people have been harmed, whether that harm occurred at the hands of an overly aggressive police officer, a discriminatory employer, a careless driver, or a negligent medical provider.
Across his 25-year legal career, he has pursued claims against governmental entities, healthcare providers, employers, corporate entities and others.
Prior to founding Goodman Tovrov Hardy & Johnson LLC, Gabriel represented clients on the other side of the courtroom, including physicians and other healthcare professionals accused of malpractice. And, he served for six years as Special Counsel for the Department of Children and Family Services, representing the Department in matters involving civil and Constitutional rights. This extensive experience on both sides of malpractice and civil rights litigation allows Gabriel to understand and anticipate how defendants will view and value claims and the tactics they are likely to employ in negotiations and litigation.
